Kurtina’s Biography
Kurtina Pollen is the Director of People Programs and Change Management at Gulfstream Aerospace, where she leads enterprise-wide initiatives to strengthen program, project, and change management excellence. In this role, she develops and oversees strategic frameworks that align people, processes, and organizational goals, ensuring Gulfstream’s workforce is empowered to thrive through transformation.
Previously, Kurtina served as Senior Manager of Strategic Projects. In this role, she was the Chief of Staff for the Office of the President. She directed messaging strategies, executive presentations, and coordinated company-wide resources to achieve strategic objectives on time and within budget. Her leadership advanced customer satisfaction, product competitiveness, and reinforced the strength of the Gulfstream brand.
Her earlier tenure as Senior Manager of Customer Support Engagement and Manager of Customer Communications showcased her ability to elevate customer experience. She spearheaded Gulfstream’s engagement strategy, launched Studio G—the company’s state-of-the-art broadcast studio—and anchored The Gulfstream Journal newscast. These efforts enhanced Gulfstream’s global brand image and strengthened its award-winning Customer Support organization.
As Chair of Gulfstream’s Diversity & Inclusion Council, Kurtina guided strategic planning, aligned goals, and championed initiatives that fostered an inclusive workplace culture. Prior to her leadership in Customer Support, she served as IT Business Partner for Engineering and Customer Support, where she implemented technology solutions across multiple platforms to advance business objectives. Her career began in IT roles including Senior Desktop Systems Analyst and Help Desk Analyst.
Beyond Gulfstream, Kurtina has shared her expertise as an Adjunct Professor at Savannah State University, her alma mater, teaching Computer Applications and mentoring students. She also held leadership roles at Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC) as Cross-Functional Change Management & Workflow Manager, and contributed to IT operations for Chatham County and Savannah Foods & Industries.
Kurtina holds a Master of Science in Technical Management from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Computer Information Systems from Savannah State University. She is a Certified Project Manager, Change Practitioner, Agile Leader, and Scrum Master, with specialized training in image consulting from the Fashion Institute of Technology and the Image Resource Center of New York.
Her professional influence extends into community leadership. She is a member of the Association of Image Consultants International, Coastal Empire Habitat for Humanity Board, and the Savannah Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. She has served on the boards of the Savannah Delta Foundation and George Leile Visions. Recognized as a Rising Star in Technology by Women of Color magazine, she has also been featured in Resilient, Aviation Week, Aviation Maintenance, and NonStop by Gulfstream magazines.
Outside of work, Kurtina is passionate about helping individuals elevate their image, digital presence, and professional influence. She is a featured conversationalist, leads workshops on self-authorship, dressing for success, and social media etiquette, and designs live and virtual corporate events that blend technology with branding excellence.
